Well, at 3 years and 4 months.. you are a strong willed human... You know what you want and want it at the moment you decide.. You are so funny, loving, rotten, smart and cute all in the same breath... and most days you take my breath away.. I try my best to teach you right from wrong and chasing you around keeps me on my toes.. you are growing so fast and each new day I love you more and more...

And More....

Home for the Holiday's

I was asked by a local Interior Designer that was creating a Home for the Holidays...

6 local Homeowners donate their homes for the weekend and people tour them and the money raised goes to local charity...

Here are the photos that I took of the home....

I love this family

Our photo sessions are chaos right from the get go.. I think that's why I love it... every photo might not be perfect but they are perfect to me.. they are all so wonderful to be around and smile with so much love when they look at there children... I love getting the photos of everyone looking straight at me and smiling but this photo is so much better... its real, its them, and I am grateful that they have me take there photos... this Mama inspires me and more and more I think I could do just one more...

A day to remember..

I did this session on October 8th 2011.. It was a beautiful morning.. the sun was shining and I was very lucky to be photographing this beautiful family... My Nanny's long battle with Alzheimer's came to an end while I did this session.. I received the call just as I was saying goodbye.. I was ok, took a deep breath and went and said goodbye to my Nanny...

As I edited these it crossed my mind that this hour was when she took her last breaths. I was a little overwhelmed but then thought of how proud she would of been of me and how this family took the time to preserve this day in their lives..

I enjoy taking photos for people, earning money while doing it is great but I see the bigger picture.. the memories, the people.. we change so much as we grow older and photographs help us keep these days real and alive...

Going to Utah this summer and having our photos done by someone that I admire was a great experience, and the fact that I the pictures makes it that much better. This is what I tell people when I suggest they have a photos with me.. make it an experience and not just a session... Thank you Patti for taking these photos for you..

Venti/Daddy Grande/Mommy 2 Talls/2 boys 1 Short/Bambino

I have known this family for almost 6 years.. I am grateful to have the opportunity to photograph them and watch them grow.. as some of you know I work at Starbucks, so it was easy for me to grab a few cups for this beautiful family... I know the Mamma is a avid Starbucker and the cups came in handy to occupy the boys to.. here is one f my most recent sessions...

Dont ask but this lady also is a very talented scrapbooker.. I do not know where she finds the time but Im often drooling at her creations... I look forward to when these are on her wall and in her Christmas Card..
