Engaged with a destination wedding to come...

I had the pleasure to connect with this awesome couple that was referred to me to have there engagement photo's taken... Again with all this gooby weather, where do you go... Well back to the Muttart.. the beauty of this place is that there is a jungle, dessert, forest and a seasonal conservatories... they were great and we got some beautiful photo's and some funny one's too...

I think engagement photo's are awesome, I never had them done when I got married 6 years ago and alot has changed and photographer's are so very accessible, but in my opinion what a great way to remember yourself's before the real chaos begins... "house buying, child 1, job switch, child 2, house for sale, building new house, etc, etc...  I hope you enjoy your photo's... Thank you D and J

Long Winter...

I have been blessed with beautiful, patient families this winter..  I have defiantly had to rack my brain for places to shoot photo's this winter.  The month of December was freezing and our local conservatory has been wonderful to me... I really can not wait to get outside though... here is a beautiful and growing family that I can not wait to take photo's for again... this baby girl is too cute for word's and I tell you I am very happy with my too boys but I do wonder how a little Dixon girl would look...  Husband not on board...

Some very special people...and a chaotic mini shoot...

I took these photo's for my friend Shauna.  I love these two kids alot and we had a great time snapping these photo's.  I think it took about 15 minute's because my kids were there and everyone was distracted and everyone just wanted to play... needless to say I had a workout and was sweatin....  I did get a few cute shots of all them... they are funny... I will have to try and snap some similar one in the future to compare..  Enjoy all these cute little faces.

Snow Blizzard!

It was a Blizzard and we had scheduled a session and was hoping to get some beautiful winter photo's.  Well, as you can tell from the photo's we got our winter shot's and over a foot of snow to go with them.  These two little girls were trooper's.  Their red little jackets were just perfect for this white outdoor backdrop...

It has been a great winter despite the weather, I have been so lucky to take photographs for such wonderful people...  I look forward to taking photo's for you in the Spring, Summer and Fall...  I have almost made it through my first Winter taking photo's...

Winter Wonderland with 2 really cute kids...

We had just gotten out first almost big snow fall and it was COLD.  I had the pleasure to take photo's for this beautiful family.  We had a great time running around as fast as we could before we made our way back to their home to take some well deserved warm indoor Christmas photo's.
Here are a few of my favourite photo's from the day...

Donation

I have had the opportunity to donate a few of my photo sessions.  I think that it is great that I can give something to a organization that will help them reach their goals and in return help me reach my goals.

Back in November this wonderful family bid on my photo session for a good cause and I got to spend the morning with them and do something I love.

Here are some of my favourite photo's from the day.  I do not normally do a post in all black and white but to me it seemed to fit... I hope you enjoy.

Not sure if you have ever heard of these toys but they are called Bakugan.  There were a few moment's of lack of focus for this little guy but he sure loved his Bakugan's, so I tried to make it fun for him because for a kid getting your photo taken for an hour probably sucks right...  Ok so my point to the story is, I thought it was cute a Mama Bakugan and a Baby Bakugan... and this is how we got this shot...
