Charlie Six weeks Old...

I got the chance to take some picture's of Charlie. I was really excited because I have been trying to stock up on some props for my photo shoots, and most of them are suitable for baby's. I knitted a little cozy cocoon in two days especially for Charlie and really happy with the way it turned out.

It was a bright sun shiny morning and HOT, so Charlie was a trooper with sun and a big black camera in his face.

I enjoy taking shots of babies, they only stay this little once. Thank you for letting take pics of your new little man...

The Row Family

I had the pleasure of doing another photo session for the Treasure Life Foundation. We are putting together a brochure for the bead program for the Cardiac Kids at the Stollery Children's hospital (info about the project is on the Treasure Life website) http://www.treasurelife.ca/ and we have tried to take photo's of every day people and families that are affected by congenital heart disease's.

I had been playing phone tag and our schedule's just did not seem to meet up, but we did connect and I go the chance to meet the Row Family... Jay, Tammy, Kaylee, and Kiana. I enjoyed meeting them and we had alot of fun. I am still getting the hang of thing's and learning how to direct my photo shoot's and sure glad Tammy was there (thank's for leading the show).

It is amazing, 1 hour goes by so fast, I get home, upload my photo's and after going through them, and looking at everyone's expression's and choosing my fav's, you see how much love is givin just by a look, a touch, and the smile's. There is alot of love that I could see with this family and it just show's me that even if something make's your life harder you have to be grateful what you have and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

Wednesday Wedding!!

I have to admit, I was a little nervous but as soon as I started I was all good. The weather did play a little havoc but by the end, what a beautiful day to take pictures. It is alot to ask of someone and I am very grateful to Melissa and Nathan for giving me the chance to show that I have the potential to do this. What a great day... It's nice to go to a wedding, especially after you have been married, it lets you reflect your day and you appreciate all the work that goes into them. I hope that this is the first of many wedding days I get to photograph....

Love is Patient,Love is Kind...Enjoy my picture's...

Happy 1st Birthday Ainslie!

Ainslie is one of my best friends baby girl. It was her 1st Birthday on June 20th and my family was supposed to go to the party but Oliver got sick and my sister threw a party in the evening for her girls. I tried to snap a few pics but Ainslie was getting some teeth that weekend and was a little grumpy. Tita loves you very much and I cant believe your 1.

Our last Goodbye!!!

Well our house is sold and we are all settled at my parent's home (the one I grew up in) while we build our new house.

The day before we gave the new owners the keys we did one last walk through, and though it was bittersweet, we without a doubt had grown out of our home. It was our first house and it's where we brought our boys home, so it was sad.

Here we are saying goodbye!
