A little Re-Shoot...

I took some picture's of Ellie a few weeks ago but she just was not herself that day so her Mama asked me if we could try again, so we tried a different approach and I do believe it was a success. What a cutie, grumpy or happy, I really don't think it matters...P.S She has the cutest hair ever.

Happy 4th Birthday Sam!

It is so hard to believe that 3 1/2 years ago Oliver and I met Sam and his Mom Jen at our local New Mom's Network. 50.00 got you in and it was a whole group of ladies with their first little babies and not a clue what they were doing. I met alot of wonderful Mom's and it has been hard keeping up with most of them but somehow Jen and I have managed.. Oliver is always talking about Sam so you can imagine how excited he was when we went over for Birthday Cupcake's. Now all I hear is "Mommy, Sam and Levi coming to my Birthday". I reply, yes Oliver but your Birthday is in August. It's funny, he's just like I was. I loved my birthday and always started a countdown, but that does not happen to often now. I suppose that is what happens when you get older. Anyways, Happy 4th Birthday Sam...

Dale, Jodie, Levi, and Saul...

I have taken many photo's of Jodie, Levi and Saul, so it was nice to have Dale join us for this little family shoot... Again it was a sun shining day and it was hot. The sun was not on our side so we were all a little squinty but you take pictures when you can...Thank you Jodie for all of your help and spreading the word and helping me with my photography adventure... Here are my favorite picture's from the day...

The Bilyk Family

It has been a busy week and with packing, a pre-schooler, a 9 month old and a sick husband I have not had the chance to post my two family shoots from last Saturday. I had a great time shooting this family despite the fact it got increasingly hotter as the morning went on. The little guys did an awesome job and with a little chasing and trying to avoid the sun for squints and shadow's which was a little challenging I would say it went well. Here is a look.. Enjoy...

The Bead Program

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am on the board of directors for the http://www.treasurelife.ca and the foundation has been focusing on a program for the cardiac kids so that they could have beads for every procedure that they get. On Thursday I went out to Beaumont to the school to help my friend Shauna sell the beads for the Treasure Life Foundation. The kids went crazy and I was a little overwhelmed but it was a great day. I snapped a few shots of Shauna, her dad Rick, Chloe and some of the beads that will be featured in the bead brochure...

Grandma and Granddad

So back in February Damian's dad was really sick and we thought that we may have lost him but he is a walking miracle, so it was a must for me to get pictures of our boys with there Grandparents. It was the first time I got some photo's with Sawyer and his Granddad and as you can tell by the picture Oliver just love's them both so much...Granddad was feeling a bit off this day but he was a trooper and I got what I needed and hope that I will get the chance again...

Seattle

What an interesting city, here are a few shots from our two day, one night stay.. that's right. Our little children drove us bonkers and so we cut it short but I did manage to take some shots. Here is a taste. Enjoy..

The Beach

We are very lucky to have Damian's parent's live on the west coast. This is the first time that we have come out in the summer, we usually come in spring or fall... the weather is hot, and we have been going down to the front when the tide goes out and the boys and Charlie just love it. I have been having alot of fun snapping pictures as it is not what I am used to. We Drove out here and it took us about 14 hours with the boys and so there are a few pics of the mountains too... We looked like silly tourists even though we have seen them countless times.

I hope you enjoy the first look at our summer vacation before we move....
