We were on our way up the Oregon Coast... we were setting our trailer up and taking it down everyday.. rolling into campgrounds with no reservation's... What an awesome road trip and our boys were so good... We made it to the top of Oregon, Seaside to be exact and we did not realize it was Friday.. we started calling everywhere my google would find us.. nothing, no sites available anywhere.. our only little bump in our trip... the boys were hungry and I was starting to panic... then I found this place, I called them and the nicest lady answered the phone and said they could fit us... We were so pumped.. We had to backtrack and hour down the coast and we pulled into Kelly's Brighton Marina.. It is in Rockaway Beach, Oregon and it was incredible.. We stayed two nights, knowing we probably would not get anything else. Everyone was incredibly friendly and we got to meet some incredible people... we did not crab fish because we would not have been able to eat with Damian's seafood allergy and the boys have not tried it yet but these really nice ladies shared theirs with me and is was delish.. Our camping neighbor was this man named Jerry and the boys just loved him.. he was traveling the coast living and working from his van and just visited his daughter whom we met when we made it to Seattle...Starbucks Pike Place... to be exact. I tried to photograph every detail and we cannot wait to go back.. and can go on and on so here are some of my photos and if you ever get the chance you should go there.. oh and the man with the crab hat is one of the owners... so awesome and welcoming..
Thanks for the great write up Natasha! I remember you and your boys, what a fun time you all seemed to have! Hope the sweatshirts are a big hit in Canada :) Come see us again the next time you are in the area!
